We grow a wide variety of shapes and sizes of hard shell gourd. All gourds are dry and ready to craft. We can cut and clean them for you as required for an extra $2.00. Minimum freight for a gourd is $9.50 unless freight is included in the price, we may fit several gourds in for that price. We discount for bulk purchases, message us for a quote Here or use the 'Buy Now' buttons where available.  All gourds are Craft Quality unless otherwise specified, if you require Carving Quality gourds please message us as, due to there weight, the freight cost will be greater.

Note - We only ship gourds to Australia. Gourds posted to Tasmania or WA must be cut open and have the seeds removed

CANNONBALL

A round gourd with a medium to thick, very hard shell. Varies in size from 100mm diameter to 200mm diameter. Great for bowls or carving projects.

MEXICAN BOTTLE

A medium sized double bulb gourd with a narrow shortish neck, Ideal for painting or carving.

OVAL BOTTLE

A medium to large gourd with an oval bulb  and a long tapered neck, Ideal for painting or crafting.

ROUND BOTTLE

A large, thick skinned gourd with a roundish bulb with a flattish bottom  and a long tapered neck, They will often sit uprite on there own,  Ideal for painting, crafting, carving an wood burning.

LARGE PEAR

A large tapering thick walled gourd. Ideal for painting, crafting, carving or wood burning.

A flat disc shaped gourd with a medium to thick shell, some variations with slight neck. Great for large flat bowels or stand on its edge for a nice vase, also makes an unusual planter.

CANTEEN

Mini gourds are usually smaller than your hand, sometimes only a couple of centimetres in diameter and vary widely in shape.

LUFFA SPONGES

Natural Unbleached, sun dried, chemical free, Luffa (Loofah) bath Sponges,  Pack of 3 mixed sizes 170mm - 300mm long or try our pack of 2 pressed luffa's, they are Pressed to 15mm before drying, are denser than unpressed luffa's and will regain about 75% of there shape when you wet them.

To extend the life of your Gourd Planter... Keep potting mix below the bottom of the opening, Hang your gourd planter under cover out of the weather, don’t over water your plant.

These aren't your average crafting gourd they have a minimum wall thickness of 3mm and are dense and hard ready for carving, cutting, wood burning, painting, decoupage, even lamp shades or whatever your imagination has in mind and If you own a dremel tool then these gourds are for you! In fact they can look great just with a lick of stain or die and a coat of lacquer!

Oval Vase Pre-cut Blank

2 x Pre cut and cleaned oval Vase Carving Quality gourd blanks including postage. Gourd diameter greater than 100mm, height greater than 200mm and hole approximately 20 - 60mm.
Oval Vase blanks will generally need to be mounted onto a base to make them stand upright, (refer art images). Please message me if you want 2 x straight cut or 2 x angle cut blanks otherwise I will send you 1 of each.
